Prashant Sabapathi is a member of the council of Financial Educators (COFE)- an IRS approved 501(c) (3) organization that is committed to providing the public with the knowledge needed to confidently navigate the ever-changing retirement landscape. He is also a recognized retirement planner, financial educator, and speaker on the topic of wealth management and retirement planning. Prashant also hosts both the Retire Smart Maryland radio and television programs which air in the Baltimore area weekly.
Prashant began his career at MetLife and transitioned to becoming an independent advisor in 2014. He now operates Elite Income Advisors, Inc. – a Registered Investment Advisory Firm where he and his team are dedicated to helping individuals accumulate, protect, and pass on their wealth over the course of their lifetime while minimizing their tax liability. Using a client-centric approach, Prashant customizes each client’s investment plan based on their specific financial objectives while implementing his philosophy that “losses hurt you more than gains help you.”
As a lifelong Marylander, Prashant grew up in Ellicott City, attended McDonogh, and graduated with a degree in Economics from University of Maryland, College Park. He currently resides in the Baltimore area with his wife Alyssa.
