Description

Musician, Pianist, Vocalist, Producer and Moon Man – Luis Mojica calls in to The Junk and Jam Hour to talk to Christopher about his latest collection of music, from the LP 'How A Stranger is Made' . With its chamber-pop, piano-driven songs, this album spellbindingly delves into themes of androgyny, male identity, sexuality & spirituality, which the Kingston Times describes as, "the most powerful record of 2019...a lush, jazz-infused, chamber-pop, [poetic], bold new album!"
On topic is how this record followed Luis' journey, and how he learned how to transform his unresolved pain, into bliss and freedom through music; how he came to be a "Moon Man" and saved from the hell of "gender spells"; and how he ultimately comes to terms with his intersexuality.
We also play some selected tracks that showcase Luis' 3 octaves, beatboxing skills and his affinity for baroque-inspired piano.
