Christopher Albert is joined by Producer, Videographer, Photographer – Founder of SJM Creative Photography and 7 Principle Productions – Stanley J. Mitchell, at the Radio Free Brooklyn studio. On topic is Stanley's middle-class upbringing, and how his mother influenced his talents and culture by enrolling him in piano lessons, acting and dance classes. After dropping out of high school, a chance meeting with blues legend John Clyde Copeland would lead to a thirty-year music career, and though Stanley enjoyed much musical success - including touring in the legendary 'Chitlin Circuit' - he opens up about how it leads him down a dark path with drugs. Stanley discusses how his sex, drugs and Rock n' Roll lifestyle caught up to him, and unfortunately would suffer a stroke, leaving him incapable of playing music. Unrelentingly, this would drive him to continue his passion for photography, and successfully continue his education by attaining a Masters in Communication.
