Malik Parker - Visual Storyteller, Videographer & Editor, Media Literacy Expert and Co-Founder of 15L Productions - joins Christopher in the Radio Free Brooklyn studio to chat about his affinity for television, film and media, and how he began to dissect and analyze plots at a young age.
He talks about his higher educational journey, which includes studying abroad at the London Film Academy where he acquired a variety of film-making skills, and when that didn't directly translate into a career thereafter -- with his mother's support and mantra of
"if you can’t find a job, make one" -- they started an independent digital media production company together, 15L Productions.
Other than the many success of 15L productions - including the Film Festival, award-winning feature, "The Rythm in Blue," Malik also talks about his love of sports and sportscasting.
