It’s okay to not be fine and to need help. This habitual narrative of saying you’re fine, when you, in fact are not, is limiting your happiness. I personally have done this, and it didn’t allow anyone to truly engage with the real me, and I also wasn’t allowing myself to live an extraordinary life. It’s time to stop lowering our expectations of ourselves, because this habit that is so common in motherhood can consume our identity.
