Description

This week, in preparation for Spike Lee's newest film, Da Five Bloods, I am joined by Ian Anderson to discuss five of Spike's previous joints: She's Gotta Have It, Do The Right Thing, 25th Hour, Da Sweet Blood of Jesus, and Blackkklansman. We discuss what makes Spike such an iconic director, why many of his films feel timeless, and why his films are always fascinating, even if they don't necessarily work.
