In 1963, the 39-member crew of the Marine Sulphur Queen left the port at Beaumont, Texas, on a five-day journey to take molten Sulphur to Norfolk, Virginia. The ship vanished, along with two Merchant Marines from Akron, Ohio. In the years since, fans of the "Bermuda Triangle" theory say the Sulphur Queen was a victim of paranormal forces.
