Description

Across Christianity, there are few things more hotly contested and vehemently debated than the role of women in pastoral ministry. Yet amidst all the debate and struggle the question sincere Christians must strive to answer is this: what does the Bible have to say on this issue?
This week, Peter, Aaron, and guest-hosts Adam Powers and Maggie Seibert discuss the issue of authority in the church, the differences between egalitarianism and complementarianism, what Scripture has to say about these issues, and how we should deal with divisive topics.
“There seems to be a lot of diversity even in reformed circles on how much we permit. But I pretty much go as far as you can go Biblically because I believe that’s where Scripture leads us in saying women should be empowered to do whatever they want to do, as long as it is within the framework of Scripture.” ~ Aaron Currin
