Can Christians curse? And what exactly is cursing? Are the scriptural passages that talk about what comes out of our mouths concerned primarily with the words themselves, or the heart and intention behind them?
These are important questions that should, at the least, cause us to examine the words we use and why we use them.
This week, Peter, Aaron, and guest hosts Dashawn Cousins and Tim Miller examine whether it’s possible to curse to the glory of God, or if certain words are always prohibited.
“The culture doesn’t dictate for us what is right or wrong as the church. What’s socially acceptable in the culture is not an indicator of what’s acceptable for the church. By that same token, there might be things where the culture says, ‘You can’t say this’, that I don’t see a biblical prohibition against.” ~ Aaron Currin
