With so many people suffering today from various degrees of anxiety, fear, or depression, the question of how Christians can cope or help others who struggle, is pressing.
How big of an issue is anxiety in our culture and in our churches today? Is there something different about the world now that has led to an increase in these kinds of struggles? What are the root issues? And why are Christians, whose identity and hope is in Christ, not exempt from this struggle?
This week, Peter, Aaron, and guest-hosts Adam Powers and Maggie Seibert, discuss these questions and more.
“We tend to do our Christian life as if God is generally disappointed with us. We live life as if we’re not sons and daughters of the king, but kind of employees who haven’t really done our job well and are under threat of being fired all the time. And yet we open the gospels and we see a friend in Jesus. And not just a friend, but a brother. And not just a friend and brother, but the king!” ~ Adam Powers
