Pornography has been around for a long time, but it’s seen unprecedented growth in the last 30 years with the explosion of the internet.
There are lots of arguments around porn and its uses in our culture. As Christians, we approach this topic from a very specific worldview, but even the wider non-Christian world is divided over whether porn is good or bad.
Regardless of its rightness or wrongness, there’s no denying its impact on people. Whether through shame or addiction or the judgment of others, porn touches the majority of people in some way.
This week, Peter, Aaron, and guest host Jimmy Trent discuss the topic of pornography, common questions and misunderstandings, as well as how we as believers should approach and think about it biblically.
“If you’re really thinking biblically [about pornography], it’s impossible to justify. Even in marriage. There’s no way biblically that we’re going to be able to argue that Christ and the apostles are for that.” ~ Aaron Currin
