Modern science, the war machine, and the whole tradition of the USA conquering the West is based on the shared belief that we control the Earth's forces. We will save ourselves and the life around us with a very basic - maybe even disorienting and painful - change in what we believe about the Earth. We are a living being inside a larger living being called the Earth. Now that is real.--
