The Stars returned home for a game to play the Islanders and came up with a point in a 3-2 overtime loss. The schedule gets pretty tough for Dallas as they have to travel to Colorado Tuesday and then return back home right after that before they head out west next week. Gavin talks about the Stars overcoming a 5 on 3 penalty kill in the second period and how massive that was for them as they were down 1-0 at that point and didn’t allow New York to add on. Gavin makes note that the offense isn’t putting up big numbers as of late, the shots on net are one thing but the number on the scoreboard for goals is a lot lower than it should be. He previews Colorado for Tuesday night and talks about some possible trade scenarios for the Stars.
