Matt Peterson is on the podcast and shares his story. He grew up in a religious family and ironically suffered a major injury as an adolescent while involved in church activities. Being introduced to opiates at a young age, his life would spiral out of control and ultimately sent him on the run from the police. Once he got into recovery he spent time rebuilding his life through school, family and working as a peer support specialist to help others navigate their recovery.
Matt has started a business as a personal chef which he ultimately wants to incorporate working with people who struggle with addiction.
