The first stadium in the world specifically for women's sports debuted with a nine-goal thriller and a memorable win for the KC Current. We're talking about what it means to us, to the city, and to the next generation of players.
But there were some growing pains, of course.
Sporting KC got their first win of the season off a Pulido goal (finally!) and a corner kick goal (no seriously).
The defense, including Voloder getting the start, turned in another strong performance.
