Mel was born and raised in Simpsonville, Kentucky, and graduated from the University of Louisville in 2006 with a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. Mel has been in public accounting since 2007, and became a CPA in 2010. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Florida Institute of CPAs.
