Phineas "A1" Waweru and Joshua "J1" Somerkun were just a couple of talented teenagers until lockdown 2020, when they were introduced on the Houseparty app. They started talking and then collaborating and have since become one of the hottest hiphop duos the UK has ever produced. Their freestyles went viral straight away and in February 2021 they released the platinum selling single ‘Latest Trends’. When Aitch asked to remix the track, A1 x J1 became instant rap royalty.
