GoTigers247 lead writer Christian Fowler sits down with four-star guard Kennedy Chandler to discuss his rise to becoming a national recruit.
Over the past year, Chandler has won a state championship, Tennessee Mr. Basketball and a Peach Jam championship. Chandler is now the No. 28 overall player in the 2021 class, and he is being recruited by some of the top programs in the country.
Last year, Chandler only had offers from Ole Miss, UT Martin and Tulane, and he now has offers from Kansas, Memphis and Michigan among others.
The four-star guard also discusses his steal and poster dunk over five-star guard Jalen Green in the Peach Jam Championship Game.
During the back half of the interview, Chandler talks about his image in the city of Memphis and how he's handled the publicity of becoming one of the best players in the country.
Chandler also talks about his upcoming junior season at Briarcrest High School and what he plans on doing to continue raising his game.
