The Whinypaluza Podcast with Rebecca Greene Episode 104 You Aren’t Broken
Stephanie Coffta started out as a social worker in 1997 and worked for Catholic Charities/MST for 13 years until going into private practice in 2010. She works mostly with adults but will work with older teens. Her focus is on depression and anxiety. Her goal is to have her office feel like a living room and to have a session feel like they are friends who are hanging out. She believes that you can have fun in counseling while also doing good work. Who said becoming your best self can't include quotes from the Real Housewives?
Listen to this insightful Whinypaluza episode with Stephanie Coffta about how you aren’t broken.
Here is what to expect on this week’s show:
How being diagnosed with mental illness doesn’t make someone any less of a person.
Why many people don’t realize their traumatic moments in their life without therapy.
How it’s okay for parents to take a quiet moment to center themselves.
Why depression and anxiety are like siblings, they often come together.
How everything people experience starts with a thought in their head.
