Listen to this Whinypaluza Wednesday Live vlog episode with The Greene Family! An extension of the weekly blog, join Rebecca and her family on the live vlog, brought to you here in case you missed it last week! As the end of the school year comes to a crescendo, we are all feeling overwhelmed, but the energy in our kiddos is palpable. Hang in there, moms, we are almost through it!
This week: I’m Holding On
We are all insanely busy with the end of the year activities, be sure to offer up your thanks and show appreciation to all those around you who support you and your kids in all that is going on.
The more you are involved in your kids’ schools, and the more kids you have, the more attached you feel. When your kids age out of elementary, it can be an emotional end.
With all the chaos, hold on to your sanity! But remember to hold on to your memories. They will be precious to you.
Be sure to take your hectic schedule hour by hour. What can you do now? When can you fit in a moment for yourself? Don’t forget to pace yourself and stop for a moment to slow yourself down.
If you have the flexibility in work to do so, be involved and attend these events. They are a unique time for you and your kids, that you and your kids will always remember.
Take care of yourself! Sunscreen! Hydrate! Eat! Sleep! Breathe.
Keep in mind that despite the chaos, it is good chaos, because our kids have not had these events in a few years.
Use your support network! Whether it is to help with events, or cover dinner and rides. Ask for help.
