Do what works for YOUR family; don’t compare yourself to others.
Adjust your expectations, and verbalize them to your family.
Balance scheduled activities with scheduled downtime.
Don’t fall into the trap of thinking everyone else’s lives are perfect based on what they share on social media, and yours is lacking. What people put out on social media is not the full reality of their lives.
If you find yourself feeling jealous of someone, focus on finding out how you can make it happen for yourself.
Continue with your “me time.” Your mental and physical health still need this.
Summer goes fast! Make those plans.
Ask your family what is on their wish list for summer fun and make plans.
Get out of the house! Being cooped up inside can add to your stress. Getting out of the house is a good way to reset.
Everyone needs space. Make sure everyone has down time, by themselves.
Make sure you and your kids maintain their connections with others. Socialization is important, even if you have to push yourself to do it.
You can do this! You are doing a good job. Keep reminding yourself!
