This week: Phases of Motherhood
Baby Phase: you are learning how to keep a tiny human alive- diapers, feedings, sleepless nights.
Preschool: adjusting to having your child away from and immediate family- can they make it without you?!
Elementary school- learning about your new community of parents and kids and teachers, maybe navigating returning to work.
Middle school- don’t underestimate your kids’ ability to handle this change and the challenges that come with it.
High school- activities can kick into high-gear! They are beginning to test the waters of independence; remember your child’s experience is not your experience. Do not put your past upon them. Driving and jobs are major milestones, too.
College- learning to let go. The range of motions is intense- excitement, fear, sadness, and joy. Your child is now able to make bigger decisions about how they want to live their lives.
Allow yourself to have all the feelings! Allow yourself grace as you figure it all out and how to juggle everything
