This week: What Football Is Teaching Me
We are more motivated than ever to learn about the game of football.
The things we learn about in football are so applicable to life.
Persistency- want to improve? Be consistent and work toward improvement
Practice DOES make perfect- or at least it makes for improvement.
Change can be good! Sometimes overcoming your fear of the unfamiliar can turn out to be a great thing! Taking risks and trying new things can open new doors.
Being a part of a team or group is beneficial. Insist that your kids join SOMETHING.
Study of patterns- they do it in football, you can do it in life. There are patterns in everything. Evaluate the patterns in your life. Are they working for you? If not, what do you change?
Visualization to achieve results! Repetition in the brain and in your mind’s eye can help you to reach your desired goal.
The qualities necessary in a good team leader are the same qualities necessary to be good at your job and a good parent.
Just as you need to make adjustments every day in football, you need to make adjustments in your expectations and your actions every day.
Work as a team! Working together and allowing others to help you will always make you a better competitor and better in life. Embrace your “team” whether it is family or friends.
