What is self-compassion?

We often have more compassion for others than for ourselves. Why is this?

Why are we so critical of ourselves?

What are some things we allow to fuel our self-criticism?

Fortunately, with age, we grow wiser and start to be less critical of ourselves.

Remember to look for internal validation!

It is OK to feel your feelings, just remember to not get lost in them.

Give yourself grace for your mistakes. Obsessing over them does not help.

Self-compassion takes daily management.

Self-care and mindfulness are part of self-compassion.

You are as deserving of love and compassion from yourself as anyone else.
