Every day on her ride home from work, Cyndi Bray-McDaniel takes time to reflect on her day. As the Plant Manager for Ingersoll Rand’s HVAC Residential facility in Trenton, New Jersey, she asks herself, “What happened today? Was anything misunderstood? What can I do better tomorrow?” It is her examinations, both of others and of self, that have made her the leader she is today. In this episode of Women And Manufacturing, 180 Skills’ Jennifer McNelly asks Cyndi what her experienced self of today would tell her teenage self? Cyndi’s advice, which includes judge less, ask more questions, be willing to learn and adjust, can be useful to many of us. Tune into “Judge Less–Seek to Understand” to hear more about Cyndi’s journey in manufacturing.
