The American Council of the Blind and American Foundation for the Blind have awarded scholarships totaling over $111,400 to 24 legally blind students in the U.S. The scholarships, ranging from $2,500 to $7,500, support post-secondary education expenses and require recipients to maintain a 3.0 GPA, demonstrate community involvement, and be enrolled in a U.S. institution. One recipient, Brock Kitterman, expressed gratitude for the financial aid helping him focus on his education and future career.
