Carolyn Dun is someone you should know. She and her husband currently live in the northern suburbs of Chicago from where they launched their now adult son and daughter. Carolyn is a connector extraordinaire and saw a gap between small locally focused nonprofits and the abundance of resources in the communities around her. So she started community purse, a giving circle that is fast approaching half a million dollars being donated to community organizations.
