Quote of the day :

"Yesterday I decided to be brave, so I started crying and allowed myself to feel it all." -@floribelpoetry

Self-awareness questions of the day :

Whenever you're feeling an emotion, especially a "negative" emotion, how do you react ? Do you tend to pretend it's not there ? Do you tend to pretend you're fine, you're not hurt ? Do you try to suppress it ? Or on the contrary, do you allow yourself to feel whatever you need to feel and to give space to your emotions ?

THE PODCAST EPISODE EXTRACT : Brené Brown with Dr. Marc Brackett on his book "Permission to Feel" :  https://brenebrown.com/podcast/dr-marc-brackett-and-brene-on-permission-to-feel/

THE BOOK I MENTION IN THIS EPISODE : Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Albom : https://www.mitchalbom.com/buy/

In this episode I talk about :

- what is an emotion and why it's important to feel them.

- one downside of trying to suppress our feelings through a visual example.

- the fact that we're all unique and maybe you are numb for years and being disconnected from your body.

- different categories of feelings : some need to be unpacked, some need to be felt, some need to not get their power over you.

- how crying is a strength, not a weakness,

- a personal example about benefits from giving space to my pain and feeling my space.

- a personal example about dealing with anger while focusing on what I can control.

- one life changing tips to help you feel your feelings an healthy way so you can also move on with your life and focus on something new !!

- a beautiful extract from the book Tuesdays With Morrie,

- and more !!

I hope it will help,

With love and care,
