Road To Avonlea is a period show which aired from 7 January 1990 to 31 March 1996. It was created by Kevin Sullivan and stars Sarah Polley, Jackie Burroughs, and Cedric Smith. The series was inspired by and based on books by Lucy Maud Montgomery.
