Description

"Shannon Patiño is a Mexican American singer-songwriter currently based in Mount Vernon, WA, who blends folk and pop influences to create heartfelt, empowering, and vulnerably authentic music. As the first-born daughter of Mexican immigrants, Shannon’s work reflects her unique perspective, exploring themes of identity, self-worth, and love in its many forms with lyrics in English and Spanish that resonate across cultures." That quote is from her website, but let me tell you some things that she didn't post: Shannon is a funny, nerdy and adorable musician who has a beautiful voice. She would say she's terrible at responding to texts, but I prefer to think that she's enjoying her real life too much to reply quickly. If there's an emergency, call 911, not Shannon. She bakes delicious treats, runs with her husband with Skagit Runners, and loves hiking. We both are blessed with imposter syndrome, big laughs and I look forward to hanging out with her more.

Check out her website (shannonpatino.com) for her upcoming shows. You can also purchase her music there too!
