Description

Episode 41! My guest today is Jeff Spradlin. I first got to know Jeff when he was a guest on my radio show with his Lazy Acres band mate, Wes Jones. I’ve seen Jeff around at various shows, but had never spoke to him until the radio. He seemed like a fun guy to chat with so here we are, episode 41. This episode is filled with local musician lore from all the way back to the early 2000s. A couple fun stories he shares on here is how he’s lived in the same house for 30 years (he’s 31 years old, and no, he doesn’t live with his parents), and how he’s spent the last decade or more dislocating his shoulder on a regular basis. He’s actually in a sling during the recording, so that’s what we’re referring to at the beginning. I had a blast talking to Jeff and now I only have to record with two more members of Lazy Acres, so, look out Joe and Trevor.

I always have a thank you to Clay for creating my amazing intro song for this podcast, but now he’s also credited with creating my fantastic new logo. If you listen to the song, and look at the logo at the same time, you realize how perfect they are together. Clay, you’re a gifted human and a dear friend. Thank you for caring about my work.
