Description

In this episode, Br. Spence relates two different times that the Lord has kept His hand upon him. Both times were when he was working on off-shore platforms out in the Gulf of America. The first incident was when he and others were flying by helicopter from the off-shore rig to land. They were approximately 15 minutes out from the platform, when about four feet of the tail section was ripped off the helicopter, causing it to plummet 1,000 feet at about 175 MPH into the ocean. But God saved them all. The second was when he and others were flying out to another rig. He stated that a co-worker, who had used some PCP before the flight started, attempted to eject an emergency door just as they were banking to land on the heliport pad on the platform. If he had been successful, the door would have ejected into the rotor blades causing the helicopter to crash into the oil rig.
