Today we are going to do something a bit different, spending some time discussing the covenant promises of God to his people. There were 5 of them in Biblical history, the last (and current one) being the 'New Covenant', brought by Jesus. In order to fully understand its meaning we will look at the previous four, which were all in the Old Testament. While doing this, we will connect the dots of these four with the history of what was going on during the time in between each of them, with the result being somewhat of an 'Old Testament History Lesson'.
