This week, we are honoured to be joined by Jordan Matthews, a senior dental nurse who has not only been Aly’s nurse but is also currently working as a dental nurse with Flo too! She has worked as a dental nurse for the past 12 years in both NHS and private practice and is (in a very biased opinion) one of the best dental nurses out there. Her journey has taken her from smaller local practices, to ensuring Aly passed his foundation year to head nurse with further phlebotomy, radiographic and TCO training. She now has a more administrative role, within a dental and facial aesthetics clinic and in this chat goes into all the nuggets of information nurses wished dentists knew. From why considering rotas with different working hours can benefit both clinicians and nurses to how much value nurses bring to dental teams to how to bring the best out of your nurses.
