Today, we reflect on one of the early church's pivotal gatherings and how the Holy Spirit intervened to guide and grow the church family while preserving its unity and structure. As tensions rose over how Gentile believers were being received particularly with added requirements that distorted the message of salvation, the leaders came together to seek clarity. Through this moment, we’re reminded that salvation is not earned by layers of tradition or law, but is a gift of grace.
We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, according to Scripture alone.
