Description

We continue with Lesson 34, looking at the life of Christ. We examine Scripture to see how Christ lived as a human, fully obedient to God. He cultivated a close relationship with the Father through prayer, applying Scripture and living under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. He modelled for us how to live as an obedient believer, using the resources all believers have access to. Then we finish the lesson by examining if it were possible for Jesus the man to sin. As God, there is no sin in Him. As a man, He had the free will to choose sinful choices but He did not. And so, this qualifies Him to be our peer Judge. Since He is fully human and lived life on earth, He understands us very well. The Father appointed Jesus as the Judge. And He is a Judge who knows what the human condition is like.

Then we move on to Lesson 35: Death of Christ. It starts at 1hr 24 mins. We start by examining what justice means to God. At the heart of God’s definition of justice is restitution, putting right what has gone wrong. Access the notes at: https://interlocked.online/s/35-Death-of-Christ.pdf
