Description

We continue with Lesson 35, looking at why blood or death was necessary for restitution. We examine Scripture to see how mankind’s rebellion needs to be accounted for by eternal death. Because God is all-righteous, He requires rebellion to be dealt with, and at the same time, being all-loving, God does not want to see man separated from Him for eternity. And so the solution was the cross. Beginning in the garden of Eden, God began teaching mankind how He would resolve this problem with His salvation plan through His promised Saviour, the Messiah. We also will observe what He taught about justice through His covenants, the Passover and the Old Testament prophecies. God has been working out His salvation plan since the beginning. Then we look at why the Jews rejected their Messiah and reflect on why people today also reject the Saviour God provides. Access the notes at: https://interlocked.online/s/35-Death-of-Christ.pdf
