The training during her long stays in Peru included dieting with other medicinal plants such as Ajo Sacha and Ayahuma, learning ancestral massage therapies, and the initiation into the Qero Inca tradition receiving the title of Paqo or official mesa carrier (medicine wheel knowledge).
She has been working with both visionary master plants for the past nine years. She has organized and lead several ancestral medicine retreats in the United States, Canada, Peru and Costa Rica and also facilitated-assisted well known shamans from Colombia during their tours in the United States.
Carolina is passionate about her work and spreading the wisdom of the Inca culture so as part of her commitment to it, she also organizes trips to Peru where people get to experience from hiking treks, plant medicine journeys and exploring the ancestral heritage with the locals at sacred places.
She considers yoga and meditation essential parts of her practice and is currently a certified yoga instructor, student of Tibetan buddhism and Tibetan medicine under the Kagyu lineage and Zen Buddhism under the Rinzai tradition.Listen today to hear:
