Within 8 years he has traveled to 45 different countries. He was couch surfing and commando camping around the world. He hitchhiked around the USA, motorcycled through SE Asia, road tripped in South Africa and much much more. During these 8 years of travel Shane became interested in religions and spirituality. While traveling he had the opportunity to drink Ayahuasca in Peru, followed by drinking Ayahuasca in Ecuador & Colombia. Shane has now spent the past 5 years studying, participating, and leading ceremonies. He has participated in ceremonies with the Shipibo, Shuar, Kametsa, and the Lakota. As of now he and his girlfriend, Carolina, who our audience may recognize from episode 14, are leading Huachuma or San Pedro Ceremonies in the USA and leading group trips down to South America.
