Scott discusses some of the ugliest and craziest note deals that he has been a part of as a real estate investor. The thing to remember is to take the lessons from those deals so you can avoid the next bad one. The important thing is to get up, go on, get on the phones, and start raising capital. People can tell if you’ve done your homework when you’re excited about a deal and you know what you’re talking about.
