Description

Punctuated by a cardiac arrest at age 35 and a “mini” stroke just months ago, my journey to share strategies of wellness, healing, and play is personal indeed.

Having “checked all the boxes” (I don’t smoke or drink;  I eat right and exercise) but still confronting serious health crises, I believe I have arrived at the final frontier – addressing the pace of my life.

This episode delves into my personal, but for changemakers entirely familiar, exploration of the role stress, adrenaline, and over-doing it.

And while The PlayFull Podcast is something new I’ve added to my life, here’s the difference: I made way for it.

Before launching the podcast, I trimmed my work schedule by about 30%. I engaged a talented team of professionals and hired an intern. I had a talk with my husband about both reduced income and increased costs while I am in start-up mode.

The result?

While this might be the “biggest” thing I’ve done — or done in a long time – the podcast is actually a place where I get to truly practice what I preach.

Tune in to this episode for an authentic and insightful conversation about facing adversity and coming out stronger – and more playful – on the other side.
