Richard Culbertson received his Juris Doctor degree from Western State College of Law in 1975. He was admitted to the California Bar in that same year. He was subsequently admitted to The Florida Bar. He spent the first twenty years of his career providing legal services to low-income individuals through non-profit legal aid and legal services offices.
He opened his own office in 1996. He is Board Certified in Social Security Disability Advocacy by the National Board of Legal Certification Specialty, which the American Bar Association accredits. Richard has spoken at many seminars on Social Security issues sponsored by community organizations, County and State Bar Associations, and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives.
Attorney Culbertson now handles nothing but Social Security cases and related Medicare issues. He has handled thousands of cases from pre-application through the United States Supreme Court.
The Culbertson Law Group consists of five attorneys who represent Social Security claimants. The Group includes two certified specialists and one former Social Security Administrative Law Judge.
