Friday Coffee Conversation - "Giving Feedback"

I have noticed that there are two methods or two types of people when they give feedback to a business.

One - The "go for the jugular." Meaning the person who gets so worked up about their experience at a business that they deliver their feedback in such a visceral method that anger is utilized as their weapon and demands immediate compensation of some sort.

Two - "Firm but professional." The person who states their case. Even though they had a poor experience, they make their request known with professionalism.

Which one are you? When you give feedback in a professional or public setting what are you hoping to gain? Are you willing to give feedback to that business so that they have the opportunity to learn and grow?
