Ways to Get Focused I know that many of us struggle with getting Focused in our day, and it's hard with all the distractions, priorities and problems we tend to face. So, I compiled a short list of ways that I have used to "get focused" in my day, and I hope it gives you some real practical and productive ways to increase your own productivity. Get Rid of Distractions -set up for success, eliminate interruptions, allow for focus, create environment Time Blocking (90) -focused time, length of time, chunks allow creativity Turn off Phone -we don't realize the negative affects, it takes time away, create boundaries. Eliminate Social Media -your mind is working in the background, so don't allow the distraction. Nutrition & Supplements -Harvard Medical suggests: green, leafy vegetables like kale, spinach, broccoli, fatty fish like salmon, berries, walnuts, caffeine in small doses. Sleep -get enough, setup sleep, wind down, environment is key. SMART goals -specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, timely. Mindfulness Practice -find bet time of day, be consistent, create environment, guided or unguided, apps suggested. Target Lists Daily -night before, align with goals, create synergy Stop Multitasking & Start Grouping -FOCUS, find similar things to group, don't allow interruptions Be Specific & Clear on Path -clarity creates focus
