About Maria Marciniec: Maria Marciniec is the Head Soda Jerk and owner of TATES Old Fashioned Ice Cream.  At her LaGrange ice cream shop, she creates premium ice cream entirely from scratch, handcrafting each flavor on-site to provide a true taste of nostalgia. Their shop is a destination, where families can slow down, share smiles, and enjoy the charm of a simpler, old-fashioned era. Here, a little sweetness goes a long way in bringing people together. Her journey into the food and service industry started early, growing up in her family’s food business, Mr. Quicks. Maria explored different avenues professionally, gaining valuable experience in banking, followed by a decade working in a doctor’s office at Women’s Health Care Hinsdale.
