A Podkey summary of Code-along: Add persistence with SwiftData, from WWDC 2026.

Today’s story is really about an app growing up a little. The Wishlist app moves off a purely in-memory data source and over to SwiftData, which means trips, goals, activities, and images finally persist instead of disappearing the second the app relaunches. And once that shift happens, a bunch of other things get cleaner too: fetching gets smarter, relationships become real relationships, the UI updates itself, and a lot of custom glue code quietly goes away.
