It's the inaugural airing of The Entrepreneurial Web, and we will introduce the show and Jeremiah Fox to all our loyal TAB listeners!
Jeremiah has over 25 years experience in hospitality & entertainment. He is currently the owner of Della Restaurant in Brooklyn, GM for Windsor Wine Group which owns Juice Box Wine & Spirits, Chairman of the Board for The Windsor Terrace Food Coop, as well as being a free-lance musician/producer and a martial arts instructor.
As far as he’s concerned, there’s no ceiling to one’s entrepreneurial endeavors!
What he most hopes to convey through his show are the tales of resilience, the connections that are made, and the sense of gratitude that one develops along the Entrepreneurial journey.
Segment 1
The first episode of the newest show, “The Entrepreneurial Web” with Jeremiah Fox kicks off with Sam interviewing Jeremiah! Jeremiah starts off with a quote of the day, and talks about how if someone else can do it, so can you. He talks about his own background, and the start of his own entrepreneurial journey and being exposed to making your own way at a very young age. He continues to talk about order and chaos, and going towards chaos in an effort to make order out of it. Jeremiah talks about the idea of how a business wheel is always turning and how you never really know what’s around the corner.
Segment 2
Jeremiah and Sam talk about why the entrepreneurial web is an actual web. The two discuss the aspect of connection and connectivity as well as getting caught in it. Jeremiah talks about his first partnership in a restaurant at the age of 22 and not following a typical path. He continues about how the business is always about people, and doing something that is your passion. Jeremiah and Sam talk about the “giving” part of the give and take, and the fact that it’s more important when working with people.
Segment 3
Jeremiah talks about his neighborhood of Windsor Terrace and how it’s influenced his business and decisions. He talks about the serendipity of various things in his life including hosting his own radio show, and what he’s looking forward to in the future of the show. Jeremiah continues about how now it the best time ever to do the things you’ve always wanted to do. He discusses times that he’s failed doing things that he thought were going to be great-- one example, was his dream of starting an espresso shop.
Segment 4
Jeremiah starts this last segment by talking about how and why he was so attracted to the restaurant industry. He even mentions how the neurotransmitters in the tongue connect to the brain when you eat something great. Jeremiah does Jujitsu and talks about how the principles in the martial art have affected him in his businesses. Sam asks about how Jeremiah goes about hiring people and how a lot of it has to do with intuition. Jeremiah talks about his own energy and how each new thing he does gives him more excitement.
