Dedicated Smartless fans brave the treacherous New England ice storm and pay hundreds of dollars (some even flew in from other states), for a surprise guest that turns out to be an MIT professor, whereas the 6PM show earlier that night, had one of the biggest Boston legends of all time, and a personal favorite, Conan O'Brien .
