Steve Schwarzer is one of the longest serving Master Bladesmiths of the American Bladesmith Society (The ABS). He has pioneered canister damascus and pattern welded technologies that are being used today. In addition to that he’s a world record record holder in weightlifting, a martial artist and Airboat racing champion.
Where did this all come from? We covered a lot of his youth, with a father in the aeronautics industry and the vast drive to make bold decisions. Steve is also one who loves to learn, he has been fortunate enough to have learned from some of the best teachers around and has the need to return the favor for all the young up-and-comers he has met and created friendships with.
I can’t say enough good things about Steve Schwarzer. He’s extremely generous with is time, information and kindness. I’ve been fortunate to spend a day with him and the laughter and inspiration he exudes is contagious. I’m lucky to call him my friend. Definitely follow everything he does. You wont regret it.
