In January of 1959, a group of nine experienced hikers began their expedition across the Northern Ural Mountains in The Soviet Union. Their goal was to reach Otorten Mountain, a place whose name ominously translates to "don't go there." After harsh weather conditions forced the group to establish camp on the open mountain slope, they were never heard from again. Eventually, the bodies of the nine hikers were discovered under strange circumstances.
